march
This is the woman march that was organized as a response to the crimes of SCAF against Egyptian protesters, that was triggered by the assault on female protesters and stripping her off her clothes that was called "the blue bra girl"

the march was cordoned by male protesters in an attempt to "protect" the women, and a lot of the chants were repeating a very patriarchal discourse, shaming Egyptian men for not rising to protect the women who were dishonoured by the Egyptian army. in 2011 when editing a video about this march i worked to actually edit out the chants that I didn't agree with politically.
However this important political moment also marks the biggest women march organized around the Egyptian revolution.
